VANCOUVER — The Okanagan, B.C.-born toque Ned Bell has been named executive chef of the Four Seasons Hotel Vancouver, effective Aug. 15.
Bell trained under chef Rob Feenie at the Dubrulle Culinary School and Le Crocodile restaurant and flexed his culinary muscle at such acclaimed restos as Lumière and the Calgary-based Murrieta’s Grill — where he was awarded the Best Overall and Rising Star Award by Where magazine.
The chef, who’s a dedicated advocate of the farm-to-table philosophy, is excited about the move. “I can’t wait to be a part of the vision, adding my own twist to the future,” he said.
