VANCOUVER and MONTREAL — Germain Hotels has partnered with Reliance Properties to bring Le Germain Hotel to Vancouver. This project will transform an office building at 1111 West Hastings Street into a 180-room boutique hotel, set to open in 2029.

Nestled in Vancouver’s Coal Harbour neighbourhood and steps from the Vancouver Convention Centre, Le Germain Hotel Vancouver will offer views of the North Shore Mountains and waterfront. The hotel, designed by Lemay Michaud, will integrate Canadian artistry and local influences, capturing Vancouver’s unique character.

“Expanding into Vancouver is a major milestone for our company,” says Hugo Germain, vice-president, Operations at Germain Hotels. “As a family-owned Canadian business, we are committed to creating meaningful projects that leave a lasting impact. We are thrilled to invest here in partnership with Reliance Properties, a company that shares our values and passion for excellence.”

“We are proud to collaborate with Germain Hotels on this project,” says Jon Stovell, president and CEO of Reliance Properties. “This hotel will not only bring a new level of boutique hospitality to Vancouver but will also play a role in shaping the city’s urban landscape and help address Vancouver’s shortage of hotel rooms. This project reflects our mutual commitment to building a strong and prosperous future for Vancouver.”

With this expansion, Germain Hotels proudly becomes a coast-to-coast company, now operating in 12 Canadian cities. This project will be Germain Hotels’ 22nd property and its ninth hotel under the Le Germain Hotel banner, following the recent announcement of Le Germain Hotel Casino de Montréal.
